We undertook our basement renovation with the usual trepidation, aware of all the pitfalls and trouble people often claim to experience. Shouldn’t have worried. BEDROCK was thoroughly professional, entirely responsible and provided complete peace of mind. We don’t usually do reviews. We are in this case. BEDROCK deserves praise and others should know about how good they are. Dimitry and his BEDROCK gang were a pleasure to deal with from initial meeting to final inspection. Dimitry and Bedrock recently renovated our basement. They exceeded our expectations and did so on time (actually, early) and on budget. From the time Dmitry came to review the job and give us an estimate to the completion was an absolute pleasure for us. After approving the design and signing off on the estimate the process took approximately. 2 weeks. Dmitry had it so well planned out that he had workers here almost every day in order of need and all supplies on site for them to carry out their job. The workmanship was perfect and the work area was always cleaned up daily and garbage taken away at completion. We had a full bathroom created in basement and Dmitry provided us with samples to choose from as well as a sample booklet of what he could provide with many different choices in his estimate presentation. Dmitry is a very pleasant and accommodating professional with excellent project management skills. All of the workers and their workmanship matched his professionalism. I would start by saying I’m not an easy client to deal with. From our first meeting with Dmitry we kind of knew we were going to go with Bedrock Basements. This turned out to be a fantastic decision. At the design stage, Dmitry shared 3 different drawings and options within a range of our budget. We were adamant on a permit and Dmitry didn’t hesitate to help with that. We were constantly updated about timelines and various trades and their visits. I had a thousand questions and Dmitry was patient in answering each one of those. This was key because I wasn’t getting this comfort with some of the other contractors I made inquiries with. Along the way, we kept on exploring new ideas and changes which Dmitry was able to accommodate at a reasonable cost (given our budget constraints). There were certain hiccups along the way but Dmitry owned it all and made sure things were done the right way even though we didn’t notice anything wrong. He would notice things and have them corrected right away. Ultimately, we are very happy with our new basement that’s been transformed into something functional and beautiful (and certainly exceeded our highest expectations). We are very pleased with our new basement! Dmitry was able to keep the project on schedule and delivered a quality basement that we will be happy to use for decades to come. He turned our unfinished basement into a rec room with built-in shelves, pantry, walk up bar and home gym. The walk up bar really adds that next level of sophistication to the space.

We'd like to start off this review with a HUGE, thank you to Dmitry and his amazing team of professionals! My husband and I had been contemplating finishing our basement for a few years now. However, like most people today, looking to pursue such a project we had a lot to consider.... The quality of work (of course), time to complete the project, and most of all the cost. With much thought we contacted five different companies both big and small to come into our home to see our space and provide us with what we hoped would be a honest and fair estimate base on our "VISION" and our "BUDGET" With allot to consider, we ultimately decided to go with Dmitry, and we are extremely happy we did!! Dmitry checked all the boxes..... - completion of the project was executed in a timely manner (ten weeks) - Dmitry provided options to purchase from his catalogue or choose our own finishes where Dmitry was very accommodating. - Communication was great. We always knew when any member of Dmitry's team would show up so that we were prepared. - And of course our budget. Dmitry's quote for this project was the most favourable in comparison to the other quotes we'd received. Even with adding in new finishes and details throughout the process. However, what truly sealed the deal for us was knowing that we would be dealing directly with Dmitry as our project manager. This was extremely important as we consider ourselves to be highly detailed and quality driven people. We had a very specific vision in mind which Dmitry was excited to take on and eager to tackle working closely with us to meet any and all expectations. The quality of craftsmanship and level of detail surly exceeded our expectations. Bedrock Basements did a complete renovation of our ensuite bathroom for us. It was complicated because we wanted to add a laundry area to this room. Not only did Dmitry get the job done quicker than expected, but he was involved in every aspect of the design - totally "hands on". I highly recommend Dmitry and his team for ANY renovation. We learned about Bedrock Basements from friends who had their basement renovated with them. Dmitry and his team helped us complete our basement renovation. They completed some demolition, laundry plumbing, framing, electrical, insulation, flooring, drywall, mudding, painting and moulding. At each stage of the renovation Dmitry was available and promptly updated us on work schedule. When small set backs arose, we were provided with options and the team was open to feedback. We found the experience of working with Bedrock Basements much more seamless than other contractors we have worked with. Would recommend to anyone getting their basement done.

Bedrock Basements just finished a basement in our house in Wasaga Beach. I would highly recommend using them as an honest, reliable and dependable contractor. My wife and I had a great experience from start to finish with Dmitri, our project manager, and his team. At the beginning of the project Dmitri spent a considerable time working with us on a basement floor plan and had great suggestions for ways to use the space. After few revisions he produced a 3D drawing that in addition to leaving spaces had all the desired features including a sauna room and a steam shower in the full bathroom next to it. The drawing provided a clear understanding of how our finished basement will look like at the end of the project and helped to establish the project scope and the budget. During the construction Dmitri was always available to answer any questions and was very helpful with providing choices of finishing materials, including floors, tiles, door hardware to name a few. He also had very helpful design suggestions. The project was well planned and finished in 10 weeks, as promised at the estimated cost. The team worked on a tight schedule very efficiently, being there almost every work day. All of the people who came to our house were respectful and did excellent work. We are very pleased with our finished basement!

When I looked into renovating my basement, I was anxious with the entire process as I have never renovated my basement before. Bedrock Basements walked me through the process step by step and provided me with the necessary options/ideas that suits my needs. Exceptionally Finished Basement I waited just over a year to write this review. I figured I would wait until the initial "WOW" wore off and we got accustom to our new added living space. I must admit, the feeling has yet to wear off! Can't say enough good things about Dmirty and his team! We had them come in and completely finished our very unfished basement. Dmitry is incredibly well organized and communicative throughout the entire process. Constantly keeping us updated and in the loop with what was going on and upfront about any potential issues. All of Dmitry's contractors were also great. We had a specific timeframe that the project needed to be completed for and Dmitry made sure we stayed on track. We had a great experience working with Dmitry from start to finish. He was really helpful and knowledgeable in designing a basement plan that is functional while being understanding and meeting our needs. He was quick to respond, adapted to ideas/changes that we suggested and completed the project on time. He provided great suggestions and helped us gain the most space out of our basement by moving water pipes. Dmitry completed a basement apartment build for us from Feb-April of this year. Dmitry was very accurate with his quote, and very transparent with any expected costs/overruns. All phases of construction were completed in a timely manner, and Bedrock has an excellent selection of finishes/trims/fixtures to choose from, and I think all of their tradespeople are efficient, professional and pleasant. All in all, I have no qualms in recommending Dmitry and Bedrock for any manner of renovation/build.

- Bedrock was a great contractor to work with. - Dmitriy responded back to requests/concerns in a timely manner. - The selection of materials was sufficient for a basement. - We were happy with the overall Quality of work - be prepared to work with Dmitry exclusively as subtrades typically do not provide much input, fortunately he is great at getting back to you pretty quickly - payment schedule was accurate and flexible - Dmitry was incredibly helpful with maximizing our ceiling space by relocating gas lines and water lines where necessary - he was also very kind in leaving extra materials for potential future use. - very knowledgeable overall, specifically with building codes, etc. - would easily recommend to friend!

We worked with Dmitry from Bedrock Basements for renovating our basement. And it was an amazing experience overall. He had answers to all of our questions. Gave realistic expectations to our space. Was responsive to our messages. All of the workers he brought did an outstanding job. And the basement turned out incredible. Exactly like we pictured it. And he left the space squeaky clean. We hired Bedrock basements to do our basement in February 2020. The design work was great, pricing was fair and all the trades were professional. Unfortunately we had to pause the project due to the COVID lockdown but the team returned as soon as they were allowed to to finish up the project. There were some unforeseen extra expenses such as foundation crack repairs but that couldn’t be avoided. I’ve recommended Dmitry to my friends and will continue to do so.

A full service basement finishing project which was completed timely and cleanly. I have no issues to report and would definitely use their service again and I would not hesitate to recommend them to other. Great value for money with professional service from beginning to end.
